bob chalmers, president

Bob graduated from Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA in 1966 from the carpentry program. His interests changed to electronics and Bob started working in the alarm industry in 1966 with Wells Fargo Alarm Services as a technician helper. He advanced to technician level, installing burglar and fire alarms throughout his hometown of Philadelphia. After working in every phase of the business, Bob started his own company and founded Chalmers Security Systems in 1985. After two years, his wife Edie joined him in the business.

Chalmers Security Systems now serves over 3,000 accounts in the Tri State area. Bob dedicates this website in the memory of his wife Edie.

Jon chalmers, vice president

As Vice-President of Chalmers Security Systems, Jon's responsibilities include installation, systems maintenance and office management. Jon takes pride in that he has always worked, having started with a paper route at the age 12. His young entrepreneurship continued at the age of 19 when he started his own successful landscaping business. In 1995, he left the landscaping industry, joined with his father in the business and started out as a technician. John also attended Pennsylvania State University at Berks. He enjoys fishing, golfing and the Jersey Shore. He is an avid Eagles, Phillies and Flyers fan.
